Are you an MBA candidate with a non-traditional background? Joe’s work experience is in sports and entertainment, both while in college and in his career. He was a four-year team manager for the Duke University Men’s Basketball team as a student. Upon graduation, Joe interned for the Atlantic Coast Conference and Home Team Sports en route to working full time for ESPN in Programming. In addition to having come from an industry with little representation in MBA circles, Joe had to explain to the various admissions committees how his extracurricular activities affected his undergraduate grades; another expertise he brings to his consulting. While earning his MBA at the Yale School of Management, Joe was an admissions interviewer in 2004-2005. As part of his scholarship requirements, Joe also served as a student ambassador in various prospective student events. Joe helps clients set their goals for business school and beyond, and market themselves accordingly.
