Eileen Chao

Vantage Point

I have been coaching MBA admissions clients since graduating Kellogg in 2008. With my clients, I bring a strong commitment to client service and expertise in the admissions process, particularly around creating a strong story and cohesive application to use the MBA experience to propel significant career shifts. As a master of career switching, I credit my Kellogg MBA to give me the confidence and skills necessary to make these changes. After starting my career as a Teach for America Corps member and as a consultant for Accenture, I applied to business school to switch careers to brand management. Kellogg gave me lifelong tools to make this transition possible – working at Unilever for three years within brand management – and also gave me the skills needed to transition back to Education Reform and to eventually find my passion as an MBA Admissions Consultant.I hold a B.A. in Marketing and Business Honors from the McComb’s School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.Outside of work, I enjoy intense workouts (Megaformer, Orange theory), riding in Mardi Gras parades and spending time with family.
