Lisa has 13 years of MBA admissions consulting experience. She received her MBA from The Wharton School in 2001 and her BA in Psychology from Cornell University. She has developed an expertise in marketing people and brands. At Wharton, Lisa worked in the Career Center as a career counselor where she provided resume building, editing services, as well as trained as a mock interviewer. As marketing director of the Wharton Hispanic American MBA Society, she provided admissions advice and essay reviews to Hispanic applicants.Lisa is an active alumna. She was CFO of Wharton Alumni Club of Southern California and has served as an alumni interviewer. She participated in the 2006 Wharton’s Alumni Leadership Conference and is a regular speaker at Wharton admissions events. Lisa has worked as the head of Marketing at Forté Foundation and as a Director of Brand Development at the Walt Disney Company. At Disney, she provided strategic counsel across key business units on marketing, consulting and brand strategy issues. Prior to Disney, Lisa was a Case Team Leader at Monitor Group in M2C- the marketing, branding strategy consulting division. Lisa started her career in advertising and PR, working in the strategic marketing group of one of the top PR agencies in the US. She currently lives in Austin, TX. Lisa has successfully worked with clients applying to programs. She has great experience working with clients with non-traditional backgrounds, low GMAT and GPAs, or anyone in need of help marketing themselves.
