Having been a top-rated career advisor in the Wharton MBA Career Management office for more than a decade, Elissa Harris has worked with hundreds of MBA students pursuing careers in a variety of industries, including consulting, consumer products/retail, and health care. Her ongoing discussions with recruiting leads at firms hiring MBA talent enable her to clearly understand their needs and to gain feedback on what they value and how they evaluate candidates. Elissa, who holds a BA with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, earned her MBA from UCLA Anderson, where she was selected as a co-director of Pre-Term, served as a committee member for admitted student weekend, and was a student admissions reader. She has also worked as a consultant in the People, Performance, and Solutions division of Towers Perrin and participated in the Los Angeles office’s MBA recruiting efforts.
