Before earning his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Brian Eng worked in management consulting and in television, where he was a producer and writer for the Emmy Award–winning news commentary program The McLaughlin Group. While at Wharton, Brian was a Leadership Fellow, an officer in the Media and Entertainment Club, and a cast member of Wharton Follies. He joined MTV Networks after graduation, negotiating content deals for VH1, Logo, and CMT, and also worked at Microsoft, where he led the network programming team for the company’s video game advertising platform. He later helped American Express grow its Small Business Saturday social media initiative. Now living in Los Angeles, California, Brian has worked in sales operations for two start-ups: Machinima, a YouTube-based entertainment network, and FastPay, a financial technology lender providing financial work flow solutions to media companies. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Asian studies from Williams College.
