Mark is a serial entrepreneur, most recently co-founding a venture-backed startup. His career has taken him from the fast-paced world of banking to mission-driven work in education reform as a teacher (via Teach For America), football coach, and consultant to various school districts and college access nonprofits. Mark is an avid writer and loves mentoring prospective candidates through the application process – from ideation to acceptance. He has also served as an MBA admissions interviewer. Having counseled many candidates who have gained admission to top-tier schools, Mark’s diverse background offers a unique perspective on how candidates can differentiate themselves to successfully navigate the admissions process. He scored in the 98th percentile on the GMAT and has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he received a merit scholarship. He lives in Chicago with his fiancé and spends his free time traveling, consulting emerging startups, and serving as a catalyst for the resurgence of his hometown, Buffalo, NY.
