Jana Blanchette, President and Founder Jana Blanchette founded Inside MBA Admissions to provide applicants an insider’s perspective of the application process. Jana was a Senior Director in the Admissions Office for the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. While at Ross, Jana evaluated and counseled applicants from all over the world. She has specific expertise on how applicants get evaluated and the criteria utilized in decision-making settings. Since starting Inside MBA Admissions, Jana has maintained strong relationships with Tier One and Tier Two MBA admissions directors allowing her to understand key aspects of the admissions process. Prior to her work in Admissions, Jana received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and her B.S.E from the University of Michigan. After receiving her MBA, Jana worked as a Principal for A.T. Kearney. She has written hundreds of reports for Board Level Executives across automotive, retail, and consumer products companies. She has published several intellectual capital and business issue papers on a diverse set of topics, ranging from corporate bankruptcy to material cost reduction. In addition to Jana’s admissions and consulting work, she runs seminars for consulting firms, financial corporations, local alumni groups and free webinars on various topics of the MBA Admissions process. She has written several articles, conducted webinars and has been cited in Poets and Quants. Jana is truly an expert in the admissions field and works closely with all of her clients to ensure top quality service and high acceptance rates. She enjoys both working directly with clients and engaging with her consultant-client pairs. She is passionate about each client and uses her expert knowledge to help clients achieve their MBA goals.
