Luke earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar (top 5% of class), and BA in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard College. He has since helped many applicants with their applications to HBS and other M7 schools. He is a technology executive with a background in strategy consulting, product management, marketing, sales, corporate development and general management. Luke was most recently the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Vivint Wireless, a business unit of a Blackstone portfolio company, which he led from inception to over 400 people as it became the fastest growing fixed-wireless ISP in US history.
Before Vivint, Luke worked as a product manager at Zynga, where he led data analysis and feature development for top social games with tens of millions of players, including Café World, Bingo, and The Ville. He began his career in strategy consulting at Innosight, a firm founded by HBS Professor and world-renowned innovation thinker Clayton Christensen, where he helped Fortune 100 companies develop new businesses and take innovative products to market. Two of the projects he worked on won Gold Edison Awards: General Motors’ Chevrolet Volt and Medtronic’s Healthy Heart for All cardiac health initiative.
Luke lives in Utah with his wife, son, and daughter. When he isn’t working, he spends time with them and playing around with new technology. He was a Google Glass Explorer and is currently obsessing over drones.
