Fortuna Admissions

About

Judith is a Co-Founder and Director of Fortuna Admissions. She served as a core member of admissions committees at the University of Pennsylvania for almost two decades. She most recently served as Acting Director at the Wharton School’s MBA Program. She was also an Associate Director of Admissions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. While at the Wharton School, Judith’s multi-region expertise in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East helped her to shape the incoming Wharton classes from a competitive applicant pool of the world’s best and brightest. She reviewed thousands of applications during her tenure and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to travel extensively for Wharton, meeting with prospective students and constituency groups, learning in depth about their educational and professional experiences. Judith has also served as Director of Admissions at the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania, and as the Director of Academic Affairs for the Rothberg School for International Studies at Hebrew University. She holds an Ed.D. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education in Higher Education Management. Judith first met Matt Symonds while on the World MBA Tour in early 2000 on a marathon 15 venue tour. Their friendship helped to launch Fortuna Admissions with Caroline Diarte Edwards in 2012.
